Called To North London
Duncan and Jill had been serving God wholeheartedly for many years at Queen Road Wimbledon under the leadership of Norman Moss. They enjoyed a powerful move of the Holy Spirit around 1994 which had a dramatic impact on the church. Almost 10 years later God was about to significantly shake things up for the Hanton's as they listened to Terry Virgo preach on God stirring up the eagle's nest. From this moment on The Father began to take Duncan and Jill on adventure of faith which would lead them to plant Northwest Church.
Northwest Church
In 2003 a group of 14 believers, from across London, moved into the borough of Barnet to build and establish a new church. The earlier years were dynamic and adventurous as the church began to grow, serve the local community and become part of the fabric of people’s lives in North London.
The Father continued to lead the church and in 2009 Freedom Church was planted into Wood Green Harringey which later became Jubilee Wood Green. This was our first church plant into North London.
Trinity Church
In 2012 we felt The Father lead us on from Colindale to Finchley and Northwest Church became Trinity Church - meeting at the Vue Cinema. Trinity Church joined the Catalyst Network of Churches. Catalyst is part of the NewFrontiers group of apostolic leaders partnering together for global mission.
In 2015 God shook things up again and we moved back to Colindale - an area which had now begun to be redeveloped. During this time a small group from within Trinity felt God calling them onto their own new adventures of faith and Inherit Life Church was birthed.
Trinity Church now serves the community of Colindale, the borough of Barnet and beyond in a variety of ways. Those who call Trinity home extend the Kingdom of God through their spheres of influence bringing great blessing to those they do life with. We're so excited to see what The Father will do in this next season as we devote our lives to Him, live honestly and are empowered by the Holy Spirit.
